As part of TFC’s project to extend the underground duct-bank on Clayton Avenue, east of Boyle, there will be street work beginning on Monday, December 28th. Please see attached for a map of the campus for reference.
On Monday, December 28th, Castle Contracting will begin street work on the Medical Campus that includes work on Clayton Avenue near Boyle Avenue. Castle will be installing a new TFC underground duct-bank that will extend the current duct-bank on Clayton at Boyle (manhole #71 on attached map), eastward, underground for approximately 400 feet, to a point at the east end of the BJC @ the Commons Building (aka AOB), then north from a new manhole in the street, to an existing hand-hole in the north sidewalk adjacent to the Commons property. The excavation route for the duct-bank is anticipated to run east/west, south of the Clayton Avenue center line and close to the south curb of Clayton.
Weather permitting, the planned duration of this work is through close of business on February 27, 2016.
All street work will be done during evening shifts, beginning at 10:30 pm and ending each morning at 8 am.
There are NO anticipated street closures involved, but intermittent lane obstructions and traffic shifts will occur. Street parking along the south curb of Clayton will be blocked in the area of work as necessary. The Castle crew will provide traffic and safety control to include flagmen, cones, plating (where appropriate), and warning signs during all work times.
