The purpose of this outage notification is for testing the new Fire Suppression system for the Rare Books area on the 7th floor. During this outage the fire alarm notification devices will be activated indicating that there is a fire event in the building. There will be no need to evacuate the building during the test. Once the test has been completed an “all clear” signal will be given to indicate that all testing is over.
